Growing baby chicks ....

This white one was a nice surprise. It has turned out BEAUTIFuL !!! Bella brought it to me today an said " where did this one come from ?" Lol. They are growing so nicely they will be ready to move out before you know it . The Turkin is REALLy getting big. It will have to go out soon probably. The silkies are still pretty small they will be a while still.

Rainy messy day

Well Tuesday was a nasty messy day on the homestead, it rained so much we had quite a mess.... our sidewalk looked like a river.

Bella and Jordan sold some more eggs. He loves to put his money in his pig...... they are really enjoying their egg business.

first sign of spring found on the homestead.... yep and calling for snow lol, and we did wake up to snow today lol

this is Jordan yes, sleeping sitting straight up, he feels so bad he don't want to lay down.

Under the weather

Well Monday we made a trip up to see our wonderful doctor. Jordan is looking so pitiful and we had to get him some medicine. Bella was a huge help.

I couldn't believe that he let Liz take his temp under his arm, he really like her. such a big boy

such a big boy waiting on the doctor with his hankie.....

he was really looking bad, breaks a mommas heart.

He just had to get in some play time with Aaron.....

Bella too.....



he wanted to see his nini so bad so we made a late night visit.......he gets in the cabinet gets out the mixer and starts asking to make a cake. and of course nini says ok lol

cake wasn't enough, he wanted to do happy birthday too ....lol.....such a good time. until next time..... God bless from our homestead to yours :-)

And then there was snow

Well its a good thing I brought Aaron in, cause when I woke up Sunday morning we actually had snow . I thought the snow was over with but , well guess i was wrong lol. Didn't seem to bother him when he had his morning bottle :-) 

I think he actually enjoyed being out and playing in it. Then we had to go visit his friends for morning feeding :-)

Albus gets so excited when he sees Aaron coming. I guess they are gonna be buddies 

The coop was pretty sitting in the snow this morning. Every time I look at it I am reminded how blessed I am with such a great husband 

 

Yep, I never thought I would have bottles in my fridge agin lol

The kids were promoting their egg business today :-) thanks to such great friends they are doing quite well

Bella delievered 4 dozen today.

Well it is officially spring break around here now so hoping to get some outdoor work done , :-) stay tuned.... But Jordan is under the weather so we are headed to the doctor.... Until next time..... God bless from our homestead to yours :-)

Snowy Saturday

Well some of town got snow yesterday, but no such luck for us....lol. it was beautiful falling but didn't really stio see how he would do.ck. I put Aaron outside t

But after much tossing back and forth I brought him back inside :-) and me and the kiddos settled in front of the nice fire for a warm cozy night (well me and JJ, Bella hit the ball game with papa lol ) Until next time...... God bless from our homestead to yours ;-)

A new baby on the homestead

Well everyone, welcome our newest addition...... Aaron. Today after school we traveled a little over an hour and picked him up. He is 3 days old and as you can tell the kiddos were VERY excited :-) We had planned to name him Cullen but the lovely family we got him from had felt called to name him Aaron, and also had a verse laid on their hearts for him.

"he Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron; He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great. " Psalm 115:12,13

 

This touched me greatly and gave me much reassurance that we are doing as God has laid out for us to do.  

It was quite a drive today....... these were our roads...lol....but ALOT of muddin fun as Bella said lol.... I would love to live out like this.....

I think Aaron and Bella both enjoyed the ride home :-)

and he is so funny, he follows Bella around like a dog lol, actually better than our dogs
