Well the forecast htime is cold cold cold for tn the next couple of days..... supposed to be pretty warm tomorrow high 40s or something then rain, then sleet , then snow and low tomorrow night 5..... then the next night -4..... thats cold for us lol. Well this morning my daddy decided to surprise me with a couple extra bales of hay and an extra bag of feed , I have plans to get hay next weekend but was running scary low. Like 3 bales :( he helped me do a little cold weather preps while hebwas here then I worked the rest of day to finish moving wood and warming chickens runs and such. So I will probably fill some water jugs tomorrow and move a little more hay anf maybe cover some more chicken fences but then I will be as ready as I can get .
The animals were loving the sunshine today
Putting some warmth up for chickens
Tied the doors shut to coop
Covered the other door with plastic ,ugly but keeps them warm till hubby can get new door up
Blocked the dog bed with wood
She has great house if she would just get in lol
Blocked some wind from other way too
And they were very happy with extra hay.
