Monday morning after spring break on the homestead

These are just a few pictures I took while doing morning chores around the homestead...... now remember this was about 615 the first morning after a 2 week break when we had been sleeping till almost 11 every day LOL....... But I have to say I like to be out with the animals at sunrise 

Albus loves his new water container, and Brick likes to stand on the old one :-)

She loves to lay her eggs EARLY....

we went by NINIs for a little while and Jordan wanted to make a cake again...... we got him to settle for waffles but couldnt talk him out of birthday singing LOL.....

Chicken update

So just a few updates on our baby chickens.... this little chick, which I think is our Americana, which is the one I believe lays blue eggs, which I believe it acts like a rooster :-( has decided NOT to stay in the tote anymore :-(..... no mater how much we cover it

so now it is covered in chicken wire LOL... this is our little polish chick , I am becoming quite fond of it and its crazy hair :-)

Isnt it just precious.....

I am not sure which breed this is but it is deff our rare jewel in the bunch..... It is BEAUTIFUL! kinda reminds me of the owl off harry potter lol

this is our little white silkie.....we now only have  2 , a black one and a white one..... their feathers are so soft and furry , they will be georgeous

The shed .... Oh my

This was my Saturday project. I am very happy with it but let me just say it was NOT a short person nor a one person job. Took me all day and was very amusing I am sure but I DID it!!!! Woo hoooo lol. Well till next time ...... God bless from our homestead to yours :-)

Road trip....

Well since we were sick the entire 2 weeks of spring break we tried to salvage some of it last Friday with a road trip :-) We went to muddy pond, well just cause we LOVE it there lol.

the kids eatting their long awaited snacks, and JJ got a bug juice as a treat cause he didn't potty the whole way there until we got there , then he went to the potty :-)

yes my kids make make fury friends EVERYWHERE we go....

Then we went to the general store again so that Bella could eat at the little diner , but they were closed :-(

more snacks in the back of the truck..... yep, dripping fudge from his face 

Then a real treat at pizza hut, since we dont have a sit down pizza hut here, the kids had a blast 

yes he is singing happy birthday to himself again, over pizza 

then we went to see my granny, the kids loved checking out her baby chicks....

and fell in love with my uncles new puppies..... we have ours on hold for hopefully july :-)

Catch up

Well here is a catch up I had to go to the doctor finally yesterday, and yep, its strep.... this mommy has been feeling REAL rough. .. Jordan just didn't understand, but hey he made a great heating pad for a chilling momma. 

Bella really took care of things with me under the weather, I even let her pump the gas...... she is growing up oh too fast

Thursday night we went by nini's and Jordan had tea with her.... so cute and he really liked it

Today I finally ventured outside , A sweet friend brought the goats some spools to play on...

yes Aaron thinks the picnic table is a toy lol

The kids went out with nini and papa for a while today and did some shopping etc...... is this the future fashion farmer? lol
